And theme week returns! Sean failed to post yesterday, citing insomnia as his reason. He’s going to wish he didn’t do that, as noted by this passage of the Blogatelle bylaws.
“Section III part 2: Wherein a writer of Blogatelle shall fail to deliver a column a punishment shall always be administered, being no exceptions;
Section III part 3: Insofar as a writer claims reason of being bored a writer shall be punished with death;
Section III part 4: Insofar as a writer claims reason of a death in the family a writer shall be punished with flogging,
Section III part 5: Insofar as a writer claims reason of having to enter a short story competition they shall be punished with nothing more than mocking laughter (HA-HA!);
Section III part 6: Insofar as a writer claims reason of insomnia the writer will be punished with a tax of fourteen Marcus-Neiman cookies, being forced to face a new theme week, and a duck.”
